Job Requirements
- Minimum age of 18
- American citizenship or permanent residency
- willingness and ability to work long hours daily and weekly
- physical ability to lift, bend, climb, stand, and walk for extended periods
- pre-employment drug test compliance including testing for marijuana and other substances
- prohibition of alcohol consumption while on duty
- compliance with emergency and safety training
- acceptance of grooming standards including limitations on visible tattoos and piercings
- temporary employment status limited to 28 weeks
- ability to work on shipboard cruise vessels

Job Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- American citizen or Green Card holder
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to work 12 hours a day, 7 days a week for up to 28 weeks
- ability to meet moderate physical demands such as lifting, bending, climbing, standing, and walking
- experience in hospitality or customer service preferred but not required
- ability to maintain composure and positive attitude under pressure
- adherence to grooming standards and safety regulations
Job Duties
- Provide guests with an elegant and memorable dining experience
- efficiently set up and break down breakfast, lunch, dinner, and cocktail hour including setting tables, arranging linen, silverware, china and glassware
- cater to all culinary requests in an efficient manner
- acknowledge guests by name, escort them to their tables, present food and beverage menus, suggest courses and wines, and answer questions
- relay orders to the galley and serve courses and beverages with care, ensuring presentation and garnishment
- perform additional functions such as greeting guests upon embarkation, serving afternoon teas and snacks, and catering evening entertainment
