Job Requirements

  • At least 18 years of age
  • American citizen or Green Card holder
  • able to work 12 hours per day for 7 days a week
  • able to meet moderate physical demands such as lifting, bending, and extended standing or walking
  • pass pre-employment drug test including marijuana and controlled substances
  • no consumption of alcohol while on duty
  • adhere to grooming standards including restrictions on visible tattoos and piercings
  • willingness to work 28-week temporary shipboard employment

Job Qualifications

  • At least 18 years of age
  • American citizen or Green Card holder
  • ability to work a minimum of 12 hours per day for up to 28 weeks
  • capable of moderate physical demands including lifting, bending, climbing, standing, and walking
  • ability to meet grooming standards including limitations on visible tattoos and piercings
  • positive attitude and ability to work well under pressure
  • previous hospitality or customer service experience preferred but not required

Job Duties

  • Provide guests with an elegant and memorable dining experience
  • efficiently set up and break down dining areas including tables, linen, silverware, china, and glassware
  • cater to all culinary requests promptly
  • acknowledge guests by name and escort them to tables
  • present menus and suggest courses and wines
  • relay orders accurately to the galley
  • serve courses and beverages ensuring presentation and garnishing
  • greet guests upon embarkation
  • serve afternoon teas and snacks
  • assist with catering evening entertainment
