Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- one to three months related experience and/or training
- ability to perform each essential job function satisfactorily
- visual acuity adequate for position duties

Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Cleans and stores dishes according to set departmental standards
- completes cleaning process in an efficient and timely manner
- utilizes chemicals appropriately
- maintains work area including sweeping floor, mopping, sanitizing counters, and taking out garbage
- correctly serves foods and assembles trays for residents adhering to specific diet alterations
- completes assigned daily cleaning schedule within department including individual work area, other equipment used, and storage areas in accordance with set department standards
- successfully demonstrates required competencies as demonstrated on unit specific checklist
- follows safe food handling procedures including use of utensils and gloves in accordance with set department standards
- abides by the schedule and select menus for the residents
- follows dish room, pot and pan procedures including chemicals, drying time, and sanitization procedures
