Job Requirements
- Must be able to read, write, communicate in and interpret English at a functional level
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide using fractions, whole numbers and decimals
- Any equivalent combination of knowledge, skills, abilities, education and experience
- Washington State Food Handler’s Permit
- Adhere to CRISTA dress code
- Follow all CRISTA Ministries’ policies, procedures and doctrines

Job Duties
- Promptly take food orders from residents and deliver to the kitchen and then deliver food to residents in a timely and courteous manner
- Know and follow the principles of correct service
- Know and follow proper food handling and infection control techniques to maintain sanitary and orderly dining conditions
- Bus tables and support dining room staff
- Clean and reset dining tables following table setting standards
- Prepare garnishes and condiments as assigned
- Restock dining room table supplies as assigned
- Perform assigned nightly cleaning tasks or side jobs as designated
- Train new wait staff as assigned
- Attend scheduled meetings
- Communicate with residents and customers in person and by phone
- Work collaboratively with supervisor, coworkers, residents, and their families
- Perform other related duties as assigned
