Job Requirements

  • Be at least eighteen years old
  • Be an American citizen or Green Card holder
  • Willing and able to work a minimum of 12 hours per day for 7 days a week up to 28 weeks
  • Able to meet moderate physical demands including lifting, bending, climbing, and extended periods of standing or walking
  • Pass pre-employment drug test including testing for marijuana and controlled substances
  • Strict prohibition on alcohol consumption while on duty
  • Compliance with grooming standards including limitations on visible tattoos and piercings
  • Temporary employment not to exceed 28 weeks of shipboard work

Job Qualifications

  • Be at least eighteen years old
  • Be an American citizen or Green Card holder
  • Have a positive attitude and ability to work well under pressure
  • Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Demonstrate a commitment to teamwork and company values
  • Ability to follow safety protocols and emergency procedures
  • Previous experience in hospitality is preferred but not required

Job Duties

  • Provide guests with an elegant and memorable dining experience
  • Efficiently set-up and break-down meal and cocktail service including tables, linen, silverware, china and glassware
  • Cater to all culinary requests in an efficient manner
  • Acknowledge guests by name, escort them to their tables, present food and beverage menus, suggest courses and wines, and answer menu questions
  • Relay orders to the galley and serve courses and beverages with care, ensuring proper presentation and garnishing
  • Perform additional functions such as greeting guests upon embarkation, serving afternoon teas and snacks, and catering evening entertainment
  • Maintain professionalism and adhere to company values and safety standards
