Job Requirements
- Be at least eighteen years old
- Be an American citizen or Green Card holder
- Willing and able to work a minimum of 12 hours per day for 7 days a week up to 28 weeks
- Able to meet moderate physical demands including lifting, bending, climbing, and extended periods of standing or walking
- Pass pre-employment drug test including testing for marijuana and controlled substances
- Strict prohibition on alcohol consumption while on duty
- Compliance with grooming standards including limitations on visible tattoos and piercings
- Temporary employment not to exceed 28 weeks of shipboard work
Job Qualifications
- Be at least eighteen years old
- Be an American citizen or Green Card holder
- Have a positive attitude and ability to work well under pressure
- Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Demonstrate a commitment to teamwork and company values
- Ability to follow safety protocols and emergency procedures
- Previous experience in hospitality is preferred but not required
Job Duties
- Provide guests with an elegant and memorable dining experience
- Efficiently set-up and break-down meal and cocktail service including tables, linen, silverware, china and glassware
- Cater to all culinary requests in an efficient manner
- Acknowledge guests by name, escort them to their tables, present food and beverage menus, suggest courses and wines, and answer menu questions
- Relay orders to the galley and serve courses and beverages with care, ensuring proper presentation and garnishing
- Perform additional functions such as greeting guests upon embarkation, serving afternoon teas and snacks, and catering evening entertainment
- Maintain professionalism and adhere to company values and safety standards
