Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Must be an American citizen or Green Card holder
  • Willing and able to work a minimum of 12 hours per day for 7 days a week for up to 28 weeks
  • Able to meet moderate physical demands including lifting, bending, climbing, and extended periods of standing or walking
  • Must pass pre-employment drug test including marijuana and other controlled substances
  • Strict prohibition on alcohol consumption during employment
  • Must adhere to grooming standards that limit visible tattoos and piercings
  • Ability to participate in emergency and safety training
  • Understand this is a temporary employment position not exceeding 28 weeks
  • Commitment to work under pressure and maintain composure and a positive attitude

Job Qualifications

  • Be at least 18 years old

  • Have a commitment to safety and compliance with shipboard regulations

Job Duties

  • Provide guests with an elegant and memorable dining experience
  • Set up and break down breakfast, lunch, dinner, and cocktail hour, including arranging linen, silverware, china, and glassware
  • Cater to all culinary requests efficiently
  • Acknowledge guests by name, escort them to their tables, present menus, suggest courses and wines, and answer menu-related questions
  • Relay orders to the galley and serve food and beverages with care, ensuring presentability and proper garnishing
  • Perform additional functions such as greeting guests upon embarkation, serving afternoon teas and snacks, and catering evening entertainment
  • Maintain high standards of hospitality and guest service aboard the vessel
