Job Requirements
- At least eighteen years of age
- American citizen or Green Card holder
- Ability to work 12 hours per day, 7 days a week, for up to 28 weeks
- Ability to meet physical demands including lifting, bending, climbing, standing, and walking
- Pass pre-employment drug test including marijuana and other controlled substances
- Abstain from alcohol consumption during employment
- Compliance with grooming standards on tattoos and piercings
- Availability for temporary 28-week shipboard employment
Job Qualifications
- You must be at least eighteen years of age
- Be an American citizen or Green Card holder
- Willing and able to work a minimum of 12 hours per day for 7 days a week for up to 28 weeks
- Able to meet moderate physical demands including lifting, bending, climbing, standing and walking for extended periods
- Able to pass pre-employment drug screening
- Committed to abstaining from alcohol consumption during employment
- Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure with a positive attitude
- Willingness to comply with grooming standards regarding visible tattoos and piercings
- Successful completion of emergency and safety training
Job Duties
- Provide guests with an elegant and memorable dining experience
- Efficiently set up and break down breakfast, lunch, dinner, and cocktail hour including setting tables, arranging linen, silverware, china and glassware
- Cater to all culinary requests in an efficient manner
- Acknowledge guests by name, escort them to their tables, present food and beverage menus, suggest particular courses and wines and answer questions about menu items
- Relay orders to the galley and serve various courses and beverages with care ensuring presentable and properly garnished items
- Perform additional functions such as greeting guests upon embarkation, serving afternoon teas and snacks, and catering evening entertainment
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining and service areas
