Job Requirements
- Meet all applicable state and federal requirements for this position
- Ability to make independent decisions and follow instructions
- Deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the public
- Capable of working with ill, disabled, elderly, and emotionally upset people within the facility
- Communicate in a manner sufficient for effective communication with supervisors, team members, residents, and families
- Frequently lift/carry 30 lbs and occasionally lift/carry 50 lbs
- Frequently push/pull up to 30 lbs and occasionally push/pull up to 50 lbs
- Frequently stand or walk
- Ability to bend, twist, stoop and reach at or below the shoulder
- Exposure to kitchen heat and cold from the freezer

- Food service and/or hospitality experience preferred

Job Duties
- Serve meals that are palatable and appetizing in appearance
- Serve food in accordance with established portion control procedures
- Distribute and collect menus as necessary
- Take meal orders, serve food and beverages, and answer questions regarding the menu
- Follow sanitary regulations at all times
- Provide Platinum Service with each dining experience
- Set up meal trays, food carts and set up the dining room with utensils, salt and pepper, napkins, and clean common areas prior and after meals are served
