Job Requirements
- Previous experience in food service preferred but not required
- ability to effectively read, write, and communicate with residents in English
- willingness to learn and take direction from supervisors
- have a calm, pleasant, and polite demeanor
- valid Food Handler's or MAST Permit and CPR/First Aid Certificate (Chateau will pay for training if not certified)
- must pass a Department of Social and Health Services background check (some negative actions are acceptable)

Job Duties
- Serve meals and bus, clean, and reset tables according to property guidelines
- participate in a daily and weekly cleaning schedule for kitchen and dining room areas
- assist with assembling and delivering food trays as directed
- communicate with residents in a warm and friendly manner
- help maintain the organization and appearance of kitchen and dining areas, informing supervisors about inventory that needs to be re-ordered
