Job Duties
- Prepare dining areas for meals including setting tables with dinnerware and decoration
- serve accurate and attractive meals in a timely manner
- ensure proper food temperature when serving
- communicate with and respond to customer meal requests
- obtain meal orders
- monitor and maintain proper levels of supplies and food items in work areas and dining rooms
- observe and report changes in residents dining habits to appropriate personnel
- maintain adequate cleanliness of dining services equipment and work area
- ensure proper storage of food items according to policy
- operate dishwasher when appropriate
