Job Requirements

  • must be able to stand and walk for 100% of the work day
  • ability to lift and carry up to 20 lbs independently
  • ability to push and pull bus carts weighing up to 50 lbs independently
  • ability to bend, stoop, reach and balance frequently
  • must be able to see, hear and speak
  • prior experience in food service preferred
  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • availability to work 3:30 pm to 8:00 pm shifts
  • commitment to excellent customer service

Job Qualifications

  • experience waiting tables in a hotel, restaurant or club with fine dining preferred but will train
  • ability to interpret and explain menu items
  • ability to work well with residents, guests, visitors, families, supervisors and peers
  • courteous, tactful and gracious demeanor

Job Duties

  • greet and seat residents and guests
  • explain menu items and answer questions
  • coordinate and manage meal service
  • work cooperatively with residents, families, and staff
  • perform fine dining food and beverage service
  • maintain cleanliness and organization of dining area
  • participate in professional training sessions
