Job Requirements
- must be able to stand and walk for 100% of the work day
- ability to lift and carry up to 20 lbs independently
- ability to push and pull bus carts weighing up to 50 lbs independently
- ability to bend, stoop, reach and balance frequently
- must be able to see, hear and speak
- prior experience in food service preferred
- high school diploma or equivalent
- availability to work 3:30 pm to 8:00 pm shifts
- commitment to excellent customer service
Job Qualifications
- experience waiting tables in a hotel, restaurant or club with fine dining preferred but will train
- ability to interpret and explain menu items
- ability to work well with residents, guests, visitors, families, supervisors and peers
- courteous, tactful and gracious demeanor
Job Duties
- greet and seat residents and guests
- explain menu items and answer questions
- coordinate and manage meal service
- work cooperatively with residents, families, and staff
- perform fine dining food and beverage service
- maintain cleanliness and organization of dining area
- participate in professional training sessions
