Job Requirements
- Must be available evenings and weekends (Wednesday through Sunday is required)
- Must have at least 18 years of age (or have valid work permit)
- Must have reliable transportation to work
Job Qualifications
- At least 2 years’ experience as server, captain, or sommelier in a fine dining restaurant, a plus
- Strong food, wine, and spirits knowledge
- CMS Certified or WSET 1 or greater a plus
- Ability to always be positive, attentive, and hospitable
- Willingness to learn and grow
- Ability to communicate verbally in an articulate manner
- Valid responsible beverage serving (RBS) card
Job Duties
- Maintain customer service according to restaurant standards
- Provide table service including delivering food and beverage items
- Buss and clean tables efficiently
- Use strong wine and beverage knowledge to upsell during service
- Maintain sanitary food handling practices
- Interact with customers in a positive, hospitable manner
- Assist customers promptly and professionally
