Lodge at Marconi is a secluded 45-room hotel and event destination perched in the hills above Tomales Bay, Northern California. Job Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years fine dining experience
- Familiarity with Aloha POS
- Wine knowledge
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Flexible schedule including mornings, lunch shifts, nights, holidays and weekends
- Punctual, reliable and detail oriented
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to work on your feet for up to 10 hours
- Must be able to stand, bend, stoop, twist and lift products and supplies weighing 20 pounds
- Occasional lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to perform repetitive hand and wrist motion
Job Qualifications
- Must be eligible to work in the USA
- Food service experience preferred
- Ability to learn and understand basic food practices
Job Duties
- Taking food and beverages orders and ensuring that they are delivered to the table in a timely fashion
- Provide great hospitality by going above and beyond for every guest
- Explaining the menus to guests and accommodating their requests
- Paying close attention to your tables to ensure that they are always taken care of
- Delivering the bill and processing payment
- Treating all guests with the utmost courtesy and respect
- Assisting with closing and opening duties
- Assisting with hotel and banquet operations as needed
- Understand and proficiently use the POS system
