Lodge at Marconi is a secluded 45-room hotel and event destination perched in the hills above Tomales Bay, Northern California. Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years fine dining experience
  • Familiarity with Aloha POS
  • Wine knowledge
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Flexible schedule including mornings, lunch shifts, nights, holidays and weekends
  • Punctual, reliable and detail oriented
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be able to work on your feet for up to 10 hours
  • Must be able to stand, bend, stoop, twist and lift products and supplies weighing 20 pounds
  • Occasional lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds
  • Must be able to perform repetitive hand and wrist motion

Job Qualifications

  • Must be eligible to work in the USA
  • Food service experience preferred
  • Ability to learn and understand basic food practices

Job Duties

  • Taking food and beverages orders and ensuring that they are delivered to the table in a timely fashion
  • Provide great hospitality by going above and beyond for every guest
  • Explaining the menus to guests and accommodating their requests
  • Paying close attention to your tables to ensure that they are always taken care of
  • Delivering the bill and processing payment
  • Treating all guests with the utmost courtesy and respect
  • Assisting with closing and opening duties
  • Assisting with hotel and banquet operations as needed
  • Understand and proficiently use the POS system
