Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality recommended
- Ability to work evening shifts and weekends
- Must be friendly, dependable, and customer service oriented
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to follow instructions and comply with policies
- Must maintain confidentiality of residents information
- Ability to communicate clearly and work well with others

Job Duties
- Serve residents meals and bus tables, maintaining a clean and safe dining area
- Ensure dining areas are pleasant, comfortable, and welcoming for residents
- Support a professional, resident-centered dining experience
- Clean and prepare dining room and tables in restaurant style dining appearance
- Set tables and ensure condiments are filled and available
- Prepare drink station and/or salad bar according to department policies and procedures
- Take orders for meals from residents using excellent customer service skills
- Ensure drinks are filled according to residents requests and are kept filled as needed
- Serve residents according to their choices using a pleasant, patient voice and attitude
- Clean tables, chairs, floors, equipment, dishes and kitchen following community's policies and procedures
- Set up room trays and deliver to residents as needed
- Stock supplies as requested
- Maintain confidentiality of residents personal information in and out of the community and protect and support residents rights
- Maintain a professional appearance by wearing clean, pressed required uniform and a demeanor that encourages a positive nurturing environment for the residents, families, vendors, and guests
- Maintain a positive customer service environment and practice honesty and integrity in all aspects of performance
- Assist residents to dining room, ensure all residents are given an opportunity for a meal
- Perform all other duties as assigned or required
