Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous food service or senior living experience preferred
- ability to perform physical tasks including standing and walking for extended periods
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to provide compassionate and patient service to senior residents
- availability to work evening shifts and weekends
- ability to maintain confidentiality
- adherence to dress code and professional appearance
- capacity to follow health and safety guidelines
Job Qualifications

- previous experience in food service or senior living dining preferred
- excellent customer service and communication skills
- ability to work efficiently in a team environment

Job Duties
- Serve residents meals and bus tables, maintaining a clean and safe dining area
- ensure dining areas are pleasant, comfortable, and welcoming for residents
- support a professional, resident-centered dining experience
- clean and prepare dining room and tables in restaurant style dining appearance
- set tables and ensure condiments are filled and available
- prepare drink station and/or salad bar according to department policies and procedures
- take orders for meals from residents using excellent customer service skills
- ensure drinks are filled according to residents requests and are kept filled as needed
- serve residents according to their choices using a pleasant, patient voice and attitude
- clean tables, chairs, floors, equipment, dishes and kitchen following community's policies and procedures
- set up room trays and deliver to residents as needed
- stock supplies as requested
- maintain confidentiality of residents personal information in and out of the community and protect and support residents rights
- maintain a professional appearance by wearing clean, pressed required uniform and a demeanor that encourages a positive nurturing environment for the residents, families, vendors, and guests
- maintain a positive customer service environment and practice honesty and integrity in all aspects of performance
- assist residents to dining room, make sure all residents are given an opportunity for a meal
- perform all other duties as assigned or required
