Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least one year of serving experience in a full service environment
  • Knowledge of local food safety standards
  • Ability to obtain or possess State Food Safety Certificate
  • Robust knowledge of wines and beverages
  • Extraordinary attention to detail, quality, and service

Job Duties

  • Provide exceptional service and communication at all times with members, guests, and team members
  • Greet guests and members promptly and politely, proactively anticipating needs
  • Respond promptly to all member/guest requests
  • Present extensive knowledge of menu items, ingredients, preparations, and specials
  • Make recommendations based upon preferences, special requests, or allergies
  • Understand cocktails, wine, beer, and beverages thoroughly and pair wine to menu items
  • Enter transactions accurately into POS system and close sales according to policies
  • Ensure orders are complete and accurate prior to delivery
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas
  • Complete daily stocking
  • Adhere to food safety standards
  • Keep the appearance of the restaurant consistent throughout the day
  • Ensure daily opening and closing responsibilities are completed accurately
  • Conduct inventory of restaurant items as requested
  • Report maintenance and safety issues promptly
  • Maintain equipment properly
  • Comply with government, safety, health, and security standards
  • Perform other duties as assigned
