Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 0-2 years related experience in restaurant or customer service roles
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods during shifts
- Capability to push, lift, carry and transfer up to 50 pounds
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with POS systems
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and multitask
- Availability to work flexible schedules including early closing shifts
- Ability to follow safety and sanitation guidelines and procedures

- Detail oriented with ability to multi-task
- Ability to prioritize and good organizational skills
- Computer skills including POS system experience

- Strong knowledge of restaurant concepts, practices, and procedures
- Reliance on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
Job Duties
- Take guest orders utilizing menu knowledge and situational selling techniques
- Serve food and beverages to guests promptly ensuring items are prepared properly and delivered on time following company standards
- Communicate professionally with guests to determine needs and assist with menu selections
- Communicate new promotions and product information to guests
- Demonstrate knowledge of menu items by properly describing food
- Maintain company standards for quality food and serve only food that meets standards
- Input orders accurately into the POS system
- Pre-bus tables and assist with approved side work as outlined in the side work binder
- Practice safe food and beverage handling and maintain cleanliness
- Handle food prep equipment such as knives, coffee maker, iced tea machine safely
- Effectively handle guest complaints and involve the manager when appropriate
- Communicate and interact with guests to put them at ease while they wait for their meal or carryout order
- Assist in other job categories as assigned
- Perform all other duties as assigned
