Job Requirements

Job Qualifications
- Six months to two years related experience preferred
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred

- clear speaking and attentive listening skills
- ability to handle money and operate point-of-sale system
- ability to manage own workflow and resolve issues with supervisor
Job Duties
- Know and follow posted schedule and clock in/out times
- adhere to company uniform and grooming policies
- provide timely and courteous service to guests in assigned station and throughout the restaurant
- maintain thorough knowledge of menu items, wines, beers, and cocktails
- follow company, state, and county sanitation standards
- maintain a clean and organized workstation
- exhibit a friendly and positive attitude
- follow operating policies and steps of service
- welcome and greet guests following established service guidelines
- assist fellow team members in meeting guest needs
- answer questions and make recommendations about food and beverages
- understand correct process for serving guests with allergens
- take and confirm food and beverage orders
- enter orders accurately in point-of-sale system
- follow alcohol awareness procedures and notify manager when appropriate
- deliver food and beverages promptly
- assist other bartenders and servers
- monitor guests’ dining experience and respond to requests
- prepare and present final bill, accept payment, and process transactions
- thank guests and invite them to return
- participate in clearing and resetting dining tables
- assist back-of-house and other service areas when necessary
- perform all side work and cleaning duties
- attend company meetings and training seminars
- keep supervisor informed of guest service issues
- treat all guests, team members, and managers with respect
- maintain cooperative attitude
- portray favorable image of the restaurant
- perform related tasks as assigned by management
