Job Requirements
- Must be of legal age to serve alcohol
- Basic mathematical skills
- Basic reading and writing skills
- Ability to make correct change

- Must have state applicable health and/or alcohol compliance card
- Must pass the server aptitude test with a passing rate of 85% or higher
- Must be available to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Must maintain a neat and clean personal appearance
- Ability to stand and walk during entire shift
- Capacity to lift up to 50 lbs on an as-needed basis
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a serving role preferred
- Knowledge of food and beverage products
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer skills including handheld device operation
- Knowledge of workplace safety procedures
- Ability to suggestively sell food and beverage items

Job Duties
- Complete all pre-shift and post-shift side work thoroughly and efficiently
- Serve multiple tables as determined by management
- Arrive to work on time in a proper uniform ready for work
- Maintain personal hygiene and adhere to the standards of dress policy
- Possess complete knowledge of the restaurant's food and beverage preparation
- Sell alcohol and food items as needed
- Take orders using a handheld computer device
- Interact with guests in a friendly and fast manner with Aloha
- Accept different types of payment and make change accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and smooth operation of the restaurant
- Clear and reset tables
- Check identification to ensure legal drinking age and refuse service if necessary
- Monitor guests consuming alcohol and intervene if necessary
- Treat all guests to ensure complete satisfaction
- Approach tables promptly and communicate delays
- Complete required Micros training program
- Memorize all table numbers
- Suggestively sell food and beverages, including alcohol
- Carry drinks on trays and handle glasses properly
- Card guests under 30 years old
- Report customer complaints to management and work to resolve them
- Assist with busser duties as needed
- Avoid walking through dining areas empty-handed
- Communicate order delays immediately
- Warn guests of hot plates or beverages
- Use polite language such as please and thank you
- Notify manager if a guest may be intoxicated
- Present checks and explain payment process
- Maintain cleanliness of station and restaurant
- Follow all company rules, regulations, policies, and procedures
- Be familiar with other position descriptions and telephone etiquette
- Complete additional duties as assigned by supervisors or managers
