Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a server or customer service role preferred
- Strong knowledge of food and beverage service
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure
- Basic math skills for handling payments
- Ability to learn and adapt to restaurant technology systems
- Commitment to teamwork and positive guest relations
Job Duties
- Provide efficient, friendly guest service to a 3-6 table section including following all steps of service and bussing tables to ensure positive guest experiences
- Accurately record and account for all items ordered, process payments, and balance all sales and receipts in compliance with restaurant policies and procedures
- Work varied hours, days and shifts including weekends
- Safely and effectively transport food or beverages to tables
- Operate all necessary tools and equipment safely
- Effectively communicate to follow job requirements
- Multitask calmly and efficiently in busy, stressful environments
- Work in confined, crowded spaces with variable noise and temperature levels
- Move and lift up to 10 pounds frequently, up to 25 pounds regularly, and occasionally up to 50 pounds
- Stand and walk for entire shifts while navigating restaurant safely
