Job Requirements

  • Basic mathematical, reading and writing skills
  • must be of legal age according to state regulations to serve alcohol
  • basic computer skills
  • must be able to make change
  • multi-task oriented
  • knowledge of workplace safety procedures
  • must be able to suggestively sell food and beverage items
  • good command of the English language both oral and written
  • ability to report to work when scheduled and on time
  • ability to work varied hours and days as business dictates including holidays
  • ability to complete ServSafe Food Handler and Responsible Vendor training

Job Qualifications

  • Must be of legal age according to state regulations to serve alcohol
  • basic mathematical, reading and writing skills

  • ability to communicate effectively with management, co-workers and customers
  • ability to suggestively sell food and beverage items
  • ability to pass Responsible Vendor and Service of Alcohol tests with a minimum score of 90 percent
  • ability to complete ServSafe Food Handler and Responsible Vendor training
  • must have positive attitude and punctuality
  • ability to work varied hours including holidays

Job Duties

  • Maintain complete knowledge of Shrimp Basket food and beverage preparation, menu and limited-time offers
  • take orders for alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and food items
  • prepare orders for alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
  • use a computer to ring orders into a POS
  • suggestively sell and serve food and drinks to multiple tables as assigned
  • refill drinks as needed by customers
  • accept different types of payment and make change
  • interact with customers, management and co-workers in a friendly and fast manner
  • maintain specific side-work including restocking and cleaning duties
  • clear and reset tables
  • check identification to ensure legal age for alcohol consumption and refuse service politely when necessary
  • treat customers to ensure complete satisfaction and strive to exceed expectations
  • report to work on time in a neat and clean uniform with good personal hygiene
  • maintain adherence to all company policies and procedures
  • report to required meetings
  • perform other duties as directed by management
