Job Requirements
- Minimum of two years of serving experience
- fine dining experience preferred
- food handling certification where applicable
- alcoholic awareness certification where applicable
- basic literacy and numeracy skills
- effective communication abilities
- teamwork and collaboration skills
- strong organizational and time management capabilities
- conflict resolution skills
- legal age compliance for serving and pouring alcohol
Job Qualifications
- Two to three years of experience as a server
- fine dining experience preferred
- food handling certificate where applicable
- certificate in alcoholic awareness program where applicable
- basic reading, writing and mathematical skills
- strong communication and teamwork skills
- strong organization and time management skills
- ability to resolve problems of dissatisfied customers or employees
- minimum age of 18 to serve alcoholic beverages and 21 to pour
Job Duties
- Provide a high level of customer service at all times
- anticipate resident's needs and respond promptly
- maintain complete knowledge of restaurant operations and dress code
- work closely with Food & Beverage Director and General Manager to ensure resident satisfaction
- set tables according to Coterie standards
- serve meals and beverages as requested
- maintain compliance with state liquor regulations
- adhere to food safety and quality enhancement standards
- review daily menu with residents
- operate POS and manual systems accurately
- take and deliver meal orders
- clear and reset tables promptly
- maintain knowledge of menu items including preparation methods and portion sizes
- assist with special events and banquets
- follow payment and cash handling procedures
- acquaint new residents with dining options
- clean and sanitize dining areas and equipment
- complete side duties such as folding napkins and stock checks
- accommodate reservation requests
- foster teamwork among staff
- attend pre-meal stand up meetings
- perform other assigned duties as needed
