Job Requirements

  • High level of mobility and flexibility
  • Ability to work irregular hours, including peak times under stress
  • High level of coordination
  • Ability to lift and carry trays weighing up to 20 pounds over distances up to 30 feet
  • Ability to fit through an opening 30 inches wide
  • Frequent reaching, bending, pushing, and pulling required
  • Exposure to heat, steam, smoke, cold, and odors
  • Must be able to stand and walk continuously during shifts

Job Qualifications

  • Basic skills in sanitation, safety, and customer service learned through in-house training
  • Trustworthy and reliable in handling payments and operating cash registers
  • Must be able to communicate clearly
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure
  • Team player with good interpersonal skills

Job Duties

  • Report to work well-groomed in clean and proper uniform and practice good personal hygiene
  • Greet all guests in a kind, courteous and respectable way
  • Handle cash, credit card information, gift cards and all payment methods properly
  • Take verbal drink and meal orders according to guest preferences
  • Serve high quality food and check orders for completeness and presentation
  • Monitor and oversee food temperatures to prevent foodborne illness
  • Maintain cleanliness of work station and pantry
  • Perform side work including rolling silverware, restocking condiments, and cleaning work areas
  • Execute the service cycle and team responsibilities at all times
  • Maintain sufficient menu knowledge to suggestively sell items to guests
  • Write guest checks and operate POS equipment per company policies
  • Anticipate and correct system breakdowns to maximize guest satisfaction
  • Communicate with managers and co-workers regarding product, service, equipment, or safety issues
