Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • minimum of one year experience preferred in fine dining hospitality or full-service senior living
  • must be Food Safety Certified within 90 days
  • maintain CPR and First Aid certifications
  • maintain ServSafe certification
  • ability to manage multiple priorities
  • possess effective communication skills
  • demonstrate organizational and time management skills
  • adhere to safety and health regulations
  • comply with food safety policies
  • maintain confidentiality of resident information

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Provide support in the day-to-day operations of the dining room while maintaining a high quality, positive, and safe environment
  • provide dining service training to new care managers
  • maintain knowledge of menu items and assist residents with selections
  • take meal and beverage orders and serve according to guidelines
  • respond to dining needs while maintaining hospitality standards
  • attend pre-meal briefings
  • follow food handling policies
  • maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and health standards
  • perform dining room checklist inspections and maintain cleanliness and readiness
  • perform and ensure dining room set-up and re-set of tables
  • support decorum and etiquette standards
  • perform opening and closing checklist criteria
  • assist in tabletop inventories maintenance
  • review and document pertinent resident information
  • maintain confidentiality of resident information
  • practice safe food handling and complete cleaning assignments
  • maintain work areas in a healthy and safe condition
  • assist in dining room organization and supplies placement
  • partner with team to ensure compliance with safety regulations
  • practice safety procedures including PPE and other protocols
  • participate actively as team member
  • demonstrate team member credo
  • commit to serving residents through company principles
  • contribute to engagement programs
  • attend meetings
  • maintain compliance in required training
  • perform other duties as assigned
