Job Requirements

- Prior server experience preferred

Job Qualifications

- ServeSafe Food Certification a plus

Job Duties
- Delivers food and drinks to guests using Applebee's team delivery
- Interacts verbally with all bar guests creating a friendly and upbeat environment
- Greets guests, answers questions, makes suggestions regarding food and drinks
- Completes assigned opening and closing side work
- Presents guest checks to dining room patrons, makes correct change or completes credit transactions
- Relays food orders to kitchen via point-of-sale system in a timely and accurate manner
- Serves alcohol according to all state and federal laws and company policies
- Participates in clearing and resetting dining room tables
- Observes guests, responds to requests, anticipates needs
- Maintains a clean and organized work area
- Demonstrates usage of Tabletop Electronic Devices to guests
- Drives sales with suggestive selling
- Writes and repeats guest orders to ensure accuracy
- Accommodates special needs such as booster chairs and high chairs
- Occasionally serves as Host/Hostess or Carside To-Go Server
- Performs general utility functions as requested by management
