Job Requirements
- Must be able to relate positively to residents and families
- must be able to communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, and the public
- must be capable of maintaining regular and reliable attendance
- must meet all state health requirements
- obtain food handlers permit as required by state regulations
- must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- prior experience in food service or dietary aide roles helpful but not required
- ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff
- basic understanding of food safety and sanitation
- ability to work cooperatively in a team environment
- obtain food handlers permit as required
Job Duties
- Set and bus tables
- wash dishes
- assist cooks as needed
- clean dishwashing and food service areas
- prepare serving carts for meals
- serve meals to residents following facility procedures
- sweep and clean dining room areas
- adhere to sanitation and safety practices
- perform related duties as assigned
