Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a server or customer service role preferred
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with POS systems
- Ability to handle cash and process payments accurately
- Understanding of the MVP program is an advantage
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
- Positive attitude and team player
Job Duties
- Escort guests to tables when needed
- Review MVP program with all guests
- Demonstrate strong MVP program knowledge
- Review menus and answer guest questions
- Upsell menu items to enhance dining experience and raise check averages
- Write down guests' food orders and repeat orders back
- Accurately enter orders into POS system
- Check guest satisfaction and resolve any problems
- Verify guest identification for alcohol consumption
- Collect payments from guests
- Remove dishes and glasses and take them to kitchen for cleaning
- Clean and reset tables after dining
- Assist host by answering phones, taking to-go orders, greeting and seating guests
- Perform cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and tidying server station
- Roll silverware and set up food stations for shifts or large parties
- Stock service areas with supplies
- Fill salt and pepper shakers and maintain table tents
- Encourage guests to leave reviews
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude toward coworkers and guests
