Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older
- friendly and engaging demeanor
- prior server experience preferred
- ServeSafe Food Certification a plus
- reading, writing, basic math and verbal communication skills required
- reliable transportation required
- high school degree or GED preferred
- ability to build relationships
- ability to be a team player
- ability to follow manager instructions and guidance
- ability to communicate and behave professionally at all times

Job Duties
- Delivers food and drinks to guests using Applebee's team delivery
- interacts verbally with all bar guests creating a friendly and upbeat atmosphere
- greets guests, answers questions, makes suggestions regarding food and drinks
- completes assigned opening and closing side work
- presents guest checks to dining room patrons, handles cash and credit transactions
- relays food orders to kitchen via the point-of-sale computerized register system accurately and timely
- serves alcohol according to all state and federal laws and company policies
- participates in clearing and resetting of dining room tables
- observes guests, responds to requests, and anticipates guests' needs
- maintains a clean and organized work area
- explains and demonstrates usage of Tabletop Electronic Devices to guests
- drives sales with suggestive selling
- writes and repeats guests' orders to ensure accuracy
- accommodates special needs of guests including booster and high chairs
- may serve as Host/Hostess or Carside To-Go Server occasionally
- performs general utility functions as requested by management
