Job Requirements
- Must be able to relate positively to residents and families
- Must communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, and general public
- Must maintain regular and reliable attendance
- Must meet all state health requirements
- Must obtain Food Handlers Permit as required
- Must be able to perform essential job functions with or without accommodation
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality is an asset
- Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff
- Food Handlers Permit as required by state regulations
- Demonstrated ability to work cooperatively in a team environment
- Reliable and capable of maintaining regular attendance
- Basic knowledge of sanitation and safety practices
Job Duties
- Set tables for meals
- Buss tables and clear dishes
- Wash and store dishes following facility procedures
- Assist cooks and serve meals as needed
- Clean dining room tables, chairs, and sweep floors
- Prepare serving carts for meals
- Adhere to safety and sanitation practices
