Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- at least one year of experience in an assisted living community preferred
- ability to communicate effectively with residents and team members
- knowledge of safety and sanitation standards
- ability to follow dietary restrictions and guidelines
- strong interpersonal and customer service skills
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties
- Adheres to and conveys a philosophy that supports the dignity, privacy, independence, choice, and individuality of residents
- greets all residents in a warm, sincere, and helpful manner
- sets tables before meals
- takes orders and serves meals and beverages promptly and courteously
- provides feedback from residents to the Director of Food Service regarding meals and food preferences
- busses and resets tables in the dining room following meals
- restocks dining room tables with condiments
- cleans the dining room after meals
- follows safety and sanitation rules and practices
- performs other duties as assigned
