Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous serving or hospitality experience preferred
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English
  • Regular attendance, reliability and punctuality is necessary
  • Ability to follow sanitary and safety regulations
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Ability to perform repetitive motions and physical demands as required
  • Capable of performing essential job functions, with or without reasonable accommodations

  • Well organized with excellent attention to detail

  • Previous serving and/or hospitality experience preferred

Job Duties

  • Serve meals that are palatable and appetizing in appearance
  • Serve food in accordance with established portion control procedures
  • Prepare cold food items such as salad dressings, fruit trays, fill soup cups and other assigned tasks
  • Follow sanitary regulations at all times
  • Provide Platinum Service with each dining experience
  • Set up meal trays, food carts and dining room with utensils, salt and pepper, napkins, and clean common areas before and after meals
  • Assist in checking resident trays before distribution
  • Deliver food carts and trays to designated areas
  • Pour hot and cold beverages for residents
  • Assist residents with opening containers and condiments as needed
  • Pay special attention to resident and guest needs during meals
  • Prepare and deliver snacks for special events and parties
  • Bus tables during and after meals
  • Stock food and supplies properly and clean storage areas as directed
  • Provide support services to other dining rooms during events and activities
  • Attend trainings and employee meetings as directed by supervisor
  • Perform daily cleaning tasks
