Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in food service or hospitality preferred
- ability to operate POS systems
- excellent interpersonal communication skills
- availability to work part-time hours, including evenings and weekends
- ability to lift, push, pull, or move up to 35 lbs
- ability to bend, sit, or stand for prolonged periods
- demonstrated commitment to Christian values and lifestyle
- willingness to complete safe staff certification
- flexibility to accommodate special events and emergencies

Job Duties
- Successfully complete the training program before being scheduled for regular shifts
- provide guest service
- be thoroughly familiar with all food and beverage items
- be responsible for having a working knowledge of table service and standards
- handle cash, credit, debit, and gift card transactions
- operate POS system to take orders and complete transactions
- ensure that guests feel 'at home' and have a pleasurable dining experience
- run food to tables ensuring timely delivery
- clean and maintain the dining room
- be safe staff certified
- complete opening, running and closing side work
- use cutlery for chopping and slicing small fruits and vegetables as needed
- adhere to all aspects of Employee Handbook including expectations and work standards
- perform other tasks, duties and training as assigned by supervisors
