Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in food service or hospitality
- ability to work scheduled shifts including weekends
- knowledge of food handling and sanitation procedures
- excellent customer service skills
- ability to relate sensitively to elderly and their families
- physical stamina to stand and walk during shift
Job Qualifications
- previous food service experience required
- experience in assisted living or health-related setting preferred
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to handle food safely
- compassionate attitude towards elderly residents
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
Job Duties
- take orders from residents
- present menu items and specials
- serve food and beverages to residents
- accommodate special dietary requests and preferences
- clean tables and dining areas
- complete side-work and preparation tasks
- ensure sanitation and food safety standards are maintained
