Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 0-2 years related experience
  • knowledge of restaurant procedures and customer service
  • ability to stand and walk for long periods

Job Duties

  • Takes guest orders utilizing menu knowledge and situational selling techniques
  • serves food and beverages to guests promptly ensuring items are prepared properly and delivered on time according to company standards
  • communicates professionally with guests to determine needs and assist with menu selections
  • communicates new promotions and product information to guests
  • demonstrates knowledge of menu items by accurately describing food
  • inputs orders accurately into the POS system
  • pre-bus tables and assist with side work as needed
  • practices safe food and beverage handling and maintains cleanliness
  • safely handles food prep equipment such as knives and beverage machines
  • effectively handles guest complaints escalating to manager when appropriate
  • interacts with guests to manage wait times and ease
  • assists in other job categories as assigned
  • performs all other duties as assigned
