Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 18 years of age to serve alcoholic beverages and 21 to pour
  • two to three years of experience as a server
  • food handling certificate where applicable
  • certificate in alcoholic awareness program where applicable
  • basic reading, writing, and mathematical skills
  • strong communication and teamwork skills
  • strong organization and time management skills
  • able to resolve problems of dissatisfied customers and/or employees

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Provide a high level of customer service at all times
  • anticipate resident's needs, respond promptly and acknowledge all guests however busy and whatever time of day
  • maintain complete knowledge of restaurant(s) operations, proper table set-up and dress code of the restaurant(s)
  • work closely with the Food & Beverage Director and/or General Manager to keep residents satisfied with food and beverage programs
  • set tables in accordance to Coterie standards
  • serve residents and guests meals and beverages as requested
  • maintain complete knowledge of and strictly abide by state liquor regulations, particularly those prohibiting service to minors, intoxicated persons and drunk driving
