Job Requirements
- Minimum of 18 years of age to serve alcoholic beverages and 21 to pour
- two to three years of experience as a server, fine dining experience preferred
- food handling certificate where applicable
- certificate in alcoholic awareness program where applicable
- basic reading, writing, and mathematical skills
- strong communication and teamwork skills
- strong organization and time management skills
- able to resolve problems of dissatisfied customers and/or employees

Job Duties
- Provide a high level of customer service at all times
- anticipate resident's needs, respond promptly and acknowledge all guests
- maintain complete knowledge of restaurant(s) operations, proper table set-up and dress code
- work closely with the Food & Beverage Director and/or General Manager to keep residents satisfied with food and beverage programs
- set tables in accordance to Coterie standards
- serve residents and guests meals and beverages as requested
- maintain complete knowledge of and strictly abide by state liquor regulations
- adhere to Quality Enhancement standards and standard food safety practices
- review daily menu with residents
- maintain complete knowledge of Toast and/or POS system as well as manual systems
- take and deliver accurate meal orders to residents and guests
- remove used or soiled plates, utensils, glasses, linen from the dining room as needed
- clean and reset tables immediately after resident and guests depart
- maintain complete knowledge of all menu items, prices (when applicable), preparation method/time, major ingredients and quality standards
- assist with preparation and execution of special events, banquets, and theme meals
- adhere to payment, cash handling and credit policies/procedures
- process payments through the POS
- acquaint new residents with menus, seating, and dining options and hours when applicable
- clean and sanitize carpet, tables, chairs, condiment containers, and equipment used in the dining room
- complete side duties as assigned including cleanliness, quality and amount of all restaurant stock and supplies using checklist, fold napkins
- review reservations and accommodate requests and exceed expectations for pre-assigned tables as necessary
- create a strong sense of teamwork and cooperation among all staff
- attend Pre-Meal stand up held for all dining and kitchen staff
- may perform other duties as needed and/or assigned
