Job Requirements

  • Arrives to work on time as scheduled in full uniform
  • Greets guests in a warm and friendly manner while also acknowledging all guests that come within five feet
  • Follows the steps of service as defined in the Miller's Ale House training materials
  • Provides highest level of service by adhering to all Miller's Ale House service standards, creating 'Ale House Raving Fans'
  • Serves alcoholic beverages in accordance with company standards and state alcohol service requirements
  • Works directly with other team members to ensure all guest's needs are fulfilled in a timely manner
  • Ensures menu knowledge to address guests' questions, including food allergy issues
  • Ensures proper food handling and sanitation of work areas
  • Maintains neat and organized server stations and front of house work areas, including sweeping and mopping as needed
  • Ensures work areas are stocked and ready for the next scheduled server as well as cleanliness upon departure
  • Notifies management immediately of any potential issue with guests, team members, and/or long ticket times
  • Works 'To Go' station when assigned by management
  • Washes hands every 30 minutes throughout the shift
  • Serves all food and alcohol within accordance of company standards and state service requirements
  • Maintains clean and sanitized work areas
  • Supports other front of house functions as needed
  • Positively communicates with other team members and management
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work with numbers and handle cash
  • Basic reading and handwriting skills with ability to operate the restaurant point-of-sale software
  • Must be a minimum of 18 years of age unless otherwise dictated by state law
  • Remain standing for extended periods of time
  • Bending, squatting, and lifting, up to 20 lbs., for short distances
  • Ability to work with varying noise levels
  • Frequent communication with managers, team members and guests

  • Possesses strong communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work alone as well as with a team
  • Basic reading and handwriting skills with ability to operate the restaurant point-of-sale software
  • Must be a minimum of 18 years of age unless otherwise dictated by state law
  • Ability to work with numbers and handle cash
  • Provides exceptional service throughout the entire shift
