Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 6 months of previous customer service experience
  • Ability to follow established order and style of service
  • Willingness to work part-time with some weekend availability
  • Ability to adhere to safety and sanitation rules
  • Capability to collaborate effectively within a team environment
  • Physical ability to clear, buss, and reset tables

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous customer service experience of at least 6 months
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Knowledge of safety and sanitation standards
  • Ability to maintain a neat and clean appearance

Job Duties

  • Courteously serve all residents and their guests and answer dining related questions
  • Offer specials and complete orders by asking appropriate questions to ensure meal satisfaction
  • Maintain the dining room and work areas clean and orderly according to department standards
  • Handle all glassware and silverware in a safe and sanitary manner and reset tables according to procedures
  • Assist other departmental staff with duties and training with or without verbal requests
  • Make suggestions for improvement in food and service and participate in meetings providing input and feedback
  • Work harmoniously and cooperatively within a team structure collaborating with co-workers and delivering on resident and guest functions, activities, and promotions
