- Prior server experience preferred
- ServeSafe Food Certification a plus
- Reading, writing, basic math and verbal communication skills required
- Bi-lingual experience a plus

Job Duties
- Delivers food and drinks to guests using Applebee's team delivery
- Interacts verbally with all bar guests creating a friendly and upbeat environment
- Greet guests, answer questions, makes suggestions regarding food, drinks and menus
- Completes assigned opening and closing side work
- Presents guest checks to dining room patrons and handles financial transactions accurately
- Relays food orders to kitchen via the point-of-sale computerized register system in a timely and accurate manner
- Serves alcohol according to all state and federal laws and company policies
- Participates in clearing and resetting dining room tables using Applebee's team delivery
- Observes guests, responds to requests, and anticipates guest needs
- Maintains a clean and organized work environment
- Explains and demonstrates usage of Tabletop Electronic Devices
- Drives sales with suggestive selling
- Writes and repeats guests' orders to ensure understanding and accuracy
- Accommodates special guest needs such as booster chairs and high chairs
- May occasionally serve as Host/Hostess or Carside To-Go Server
- Performs general utility functions as requested by management
