Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older
- friendly and engaging demeanor
- prior server experience preferred
- ServeSafe Food Certification a plus
- reading, writing, basic math and verbal communication skills required
- bilingual experience a plus
- reliable transportation required
- high school degree or GED preferred
- ability to build relationships

- ability to follow manager instructions and guidance
- ability to communicate and behave professionally at all times

Job Duties
- Delivers food and drinks to guests using Applebee's team delivery
- interacts verbally with all bar guests creating a friendly and upbeat atmosphere
- greet guests, answer questions, make suggestions regarding food, drinks, and menu options
- completes assigned opening and closing side work as scheduled
- presents guest checks to dining room patrons and handles payment transactions
- relays food orders to kitchen via the point-of-sale computerized register system in a timely and accurate manner
- serves alcohol according to all state and federal laws and regulations, as well as company policies
- participates in clearing and resetting dining room tables using Applebee's team delivery
- observes guests, responds to requests, and anticipates guests' needs
- maintains a clean and organized work area
- explains and demonstrates usage of Tabletop Electronic Devices to guests
- drives sales with suggestive selling techniques
- writes and repeats guests' orders to ensure accuracy
- accommodates special needs of guests such as booster chairs, high chairs, and other seating requests
- may serve guests occasionally in host/hostess or carside to-go server roles
- performs general utility functions as requested by management
