Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 0-2 years related experience
  • strong knowledge of restaurant practices and procedures
  • excellent guest service skills
  • ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • dependability and exceptional teamwork skills
  • ability to stand for entire shift and walk for long periods without rest
  • ability to push, lift, carry, and transfer up to 50 pounds
  • ability to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects and tools
  • good verbal communication skills
  • ability to bend, stoop, and have good vision including color and peripheral vision

Job Duties

  • Take guest orders utilizing menu knowledge and situational selling techniques
  • serve food and beverages promptly ensuring all items meet company standards
  • communicate professionally with guests to determine their needs and assist with menu selections
  • describe menu items accurately and maintain company food quality standards
  • input orders accurately into the POS system
  • pre-bus tables and assist with approved side work
  • practice safe food and beverage handling and clean up appropriately
  • handle guest complaints effectively and involve the manager when necessary
  • communicate and interact with guests to handle crowds and ensure comfort while they wait
  • assist in other job categories as assigned
  • perform all other assigned duties
