Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- ability to communicate effectively with customers
- prior experience in food service preferred
- ability to handle cash transactions accurately
- capacity to stand for extended periods
- flexible availability
- attention to detail and ability to maintain cleanliness
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in a customer service or restaurant server role preferred
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- basic math skills for handling payments
- friendly and professional demeanor
- ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Job Duties
- Presents menu, answers questions, and makes suggestions regarding food and service
- takes customer orders
- relays orders to kitchen
- garnishes and decorates dishes preparatory to serving
- serves patrons at table
- observes diners to respond to any additional requests and to determine when meal has been completed
- totals bill and accepts payment
- ladles soup, portions pies and desserts, brews coffee, and performs other services as necessary
- clears and resets tables at conclusion of each course
- responsible for cleaning the restaurant throughout the shift and as a part of closing duties
