Job Requirements
- Must be able to understand, read, write and speak English above a basic level to effectively communicate with Team Members and Guests
- Must maintain a neat and professional appearance upholding Company appearance standards at all times
- Must be able to apply commonsense understanding in carrying out instructions
- Must be able to comply in standardized situations with only occasional or no variation
- Must be available to work flexible shifts, including Holidays
- Must be able to work without constant supervision
- Must be able to work well as a part of a team
- Must be engaging with all guest throughout meal periods
- responding to guest and Team Members as required
Job Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Six months Customer Service, hotel or restaurant experience preferred, but not required
- Must have excellent customer service skills
- Must obtain TIPS certification within 30 days (if not certified)
- Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a strong customer/client focus
Job Duties
- Greet all guests with eye contact and a warm welcome as they enter the dining area
- Maintain a proactive guest service approach at all times
- Assist with seating guests as needed (in the absence of the hostess)
- Provide fast, friendly professional and responsive customer service to hotel and restaurant guest and staff
- Serve food and beverages in accordance with standards and in a professional courteous manner
- Maintain knowledge of all menu items and composition
- Adhere to all Brand Standards regarding Food and Beverage and Service
- Assist with the set up and cleanliness of the Restaurant
- Assist with clearing and set-up of tables
- Assist with restocking of supplies as needed
- Communicate effectively with Management and other Team Members
- Use Point of Sale (POS) system as required
- Perform other duties assigned by supervisor/manager
- Perform special daily projects assigned by supervisor/manager
