Job Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, up to ten hours
- Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to fifty pounds
- Ability to work in indoor and outdoor environments, including warm, cold, or humid conditions
- Must be of legal age to serve alcohol
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Previous experience in upscale or fine dining settings
Job Qualifications
- One to two years of experience in upscale dining, fine dining, or private clubs
- A personable, guest focused attitude and an interest in hospitality as a craft
- Strong communication skills and comfort working in a fast paced setting
- Knowledge of food, wine, spirits, and cocktail service or an eagerness to learn
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
- Must be of legal age to serve alcohol
- food safety or alcohol service certifications are helpful
Job Duties
- Welcome members and guests and guide them through their dining experience with warmth and confidence
- Provide attentive food and beverage service during daily dining, private events, and special occasions
- Offer knowledgeable recommendations on menu items, wine, and cocktails
- Communicate clearly with the kitchen regarding allergies, dietary needs, and special requests
- Set, maintain, and clear tables according to club service standards
- Attend pre-shift briefings and participate in ongoing training to uphold consistent service quality
- Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude at all times
- Support your team with side work, station preparation, and closing duties
- Respond to member concerns with courtesy and involve management when needed
- Help create a welcoming atmosphere that reflects the values of a private club environment
