Job Requirements
- high school diploma or GED
- minimum of one year experience preferred in fine dining hospitality or full-service senior living
- maintain CPR and First Aid certification
- maintain ServeSafe certification
- maintain local health department food handler card
- ability to follow food safety and sanitation requirements
- ability to adhere to occupational health and safety regulations
- ability to perform assigned side work and duties
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to work efficiently in a team environment
- willingness to participate in ongoing training and certification
- ability to maintain professionalism and respect in interactions with residents and guests
- pass a drug test and health screenings
- comply with vaccination requirements as mandated by law
Job Qualifications

- understanding of safety and regulatory compliance if driving a company vehicle
Job Duties
- cultivate a warm and hospitable environment by making personal connections with residents and guests and treating all with professionalism and respect
- take and deliver food orders in a timely manner
- bus and reset tables per company standards
- clean and maintain the dining room and bistro to the highest standards per company guidelines
- complete required side work as assigned
- attend pre-meal meeting to gain knowledge of the meal
- maintain knowledge of menu items and provide general descriptions
- assist residents with menu selections and respond professionally to questions about menu items
- use Sunrise systems per guidelines for order taking and meal delivery to ensure accuracy
- practice safe food handling procedures at all times
- comply with occupational health and safety regulations and practice safety procedures including personal protective equipment and lockout tagout
- perform other dining services duties such as washing and sanitizing dishes, sweeping work areas, preparing and serving light meals, assisting with food preparation and plating
- participate actively as a member of a team and commit to working toward team goals
- demonstrate the team member credo in daily interactions
- commit to serving residents and guests through principles of service
- contribute to engagement programs and processes
- attend regular meetings
- maintain compliance in assigned required training
- perform other duties as assigned
- demonstrate ability to handle multiple priorities
- possess written and verbal communication skills
- apply organizational and time management skills
- demonstrate good judgment, problem solving, and decision-making skills
