Job Requirements
- 0-2 years related experience in restaurant or customer service
- Knowledge of common practices and procedures in family dining
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during shift
- Capacity to push, lift, carry up to 50 pounds
- Physically able to bend, stoop, reach with hands
- Ability to use vision skills including close, distance, color, peripheral vision, and depth perception
- Capability to verbally communicate clearly with guests and team
- Access all areas of the restaurant safely
- Willingness to follow current CDC, local, and state safety and sanitation guidelines
- Dependability and teamwork skills required
Job Qualifications
- Excellent guest service skills
- Experience in restaurant service or related field preferred
- Ability to identify and resolve issues promptly
- Detail oriented with ability to multitask efficiently
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks
- Basic computer skills including POS system operation
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members
Job Duties
- Takes guest orders utilizing menu knowledge and situational selling techniques
- Serves food and beverages to guests promptly ensuring proper preparation and timely service as per company standards
- Communicates professionally with guests to determine their needs and assist with menu selections
- Demonstrates knowledge of menu items by accurately describing food, maintaining company quality standards
- Inputs orders accurately into the POS system
- Pre-bus tables and assist with approved side work as outlined
- Practices safe food and beverage handling and cleanliness throughout duties
- Handles food prep equipment safely
- Effectively handles guest complaints and escalates to management when necessary
- Interacts comfortably with guests managing crowd situations and ensuring guest comfort
- Performs additional duties as assigned
