Job Requirements
- 18+ years old
- reliable transportation required
- ability to wipe down tables and clean seating areas
- ability to transport plates, glasses, and baskets more than 30 times per shift
- mobility to stand and move fast-paced for up to 4 hours
- good balance and ability to reach, bend, stoop, kneel, and frequently lift items weighing 25 pounds
- ability to speak clearly and listen attentively
- ability to carry objects such as high chairs up to 15 pounds repeatedly
Job Qualifications
- Friendly and engaging demeanor
- prior server experience preferred
- ServeSafe Food Certification a plus
- reading, writing, basic math, and verbal communication skills required
- bi-lingual experience a plus
- high school degree or GED preferred
- ability to build relationships

Job Duties
- Delivers food and drinks to guests using Applebee's team delivery
- interacts verbally with all bar guests creating a friendly and upbeat atmosphere
- greet guests, answer questions, and make suggestions regarding food and drinks
- completes assigned opening and closing side work
- presents guest checks to dining room patrons, makes correct change, and completes credit transactions
- relays food orders to kitchen via the point-of-sale computerized register system in a timely and accurate manner
- serves alcohol according to all state and federal laws and company policies
- participates in clearing and resetting dining room tables
- observes guests, responds to requests, and anticipates guest needs
- maintains a clean and organized workstation
- explains and demonstrates usage of Tabletop Electronic Devices
- drives sales with suggestive selling
- writes and repeats guests' orders to ensure accuracy
- accommodates special guest needs such as booster chairs and high chairs
- serves occasionally in Host/Hostess or Carside To-Go Server roles
- performs general utility functions as requested by management
