Job Requirements

  • Must have high level of mobility and flexibility
  • Must be able to work irregular hours under heavy stress and pressure during peak times
  • Must possess a high level of coordination
  • Must lift and carry serving trays weighing up to 20 pounds for distances up to 30 feet
  • Must be able to fit through an opening 30 inches wide
  • Requires frequent reaching, bending, pushing and pulling
  • Exposure to heat, steam, smoke, cold and odors
  • Requires continual standing and walking

Job Qualifications

  • Basic skills such as sanitation, safety and customer service taught through in-house training
  • Trustworthy and reliable with handling guest payments and operating cash registers
  • Able to communicate clearly
  • Ability to work well under stress and pressure during peak times
  • High level of coordination
  • Good interpersonal and team communication skills

Job Duties

  • Report to work well-groomed in clean and proper uniform and practice good personal hygiene
  • Greet all guests in a kind, courteous and respectful way
  • Handle cash, credit card information, gift cards and all payment related to guest checks properly
  • Take verbal drink and meal orders according to guest preference
  • Serve high quality food and check all orders for completeness, accuracy, portion, and appearance
  • Monitor and oversee food temperatures to reduce food borne illness risks
  • Maintain cleanliness of the work station and pantry
  • Perform side work during downtime such as rolling silverware, restocking condiments, cleaning work areas
  • Execute the service cycle and team responsibilities at all times
  • Maintain sufficient knowledge of the menu for suggestive selling
  • Write guest checks and operate POS equipment
  • Anticipate, identify and correct system breakdowns to maximize guest satisfaction
  • Communicate with managers and coworkers regarding product/service deficiencies, equipment, safety problems
