Job Requirements
- Must have high level of mobility and flexibility
- Must be able to work irregular hours under heavy stress and pressure during peak times
- Must possess a high level of coordination
- Must lift and carry serving trays weighing up to 20 pounds for distances up to 30 feet
- Must be able to fit through an opening 30 inches wide
- Requires frequent reaching, bending, pushing and pulling
- Exposure to heat, steam, smoke, cold and odors
- Requires continual standing and walking
Job Qualifications
- Basic skills such as sanitation, safety and customer service taught through in-house training
- Trustworthy and reliable with handling guest payments and operating cash registers
- Able to communicate clearly
- Ability to work well under stress and pressure during peak times
- High level of coordination
- Good interpersonal and team communication skills
Job Duties
- Report to work well-groomed in clean and proper uniform and practice good personal hygiene
- Greet all guests in a kind, courteous and respectful way
- Handle cash, credit card information, gift cards and all payment related to guest checks properly
- Take verbal drink and meal orders according to guest preference
- Serve high quality food and check all orders for completeness, accuracy, portion, and appearance
- Monitor and oversee food temperatures to reduce food borne illness risks
- Maintain cleanliness of the work station and pantry
- Perform side work during downtime such as rolling silverware, restocking condiments, cleaning work areas
- Execute the service cycle and team responsibilities at all times
- Maintain sufficient knowledge of the menu for suggestive selling
- Write guest checks and operate POS equipment
- Anticipate, identify and correct system breakdowns to maximize guest satisfaction
- Communicate with managers and coworkers regarding product/service deficiencies, equipment, safety problems
