Job Duties
- Delivers food and drinks to guests using Applebee's team delivery
- interacts verbally with bar guests creating a friendly and upbeat atmosphere
- greets guests, answers questions, makes suggestions regarding food and drinks
- completes assigned opening and closing side work
- presents guest checks to dining room patrons and handles payment transactions
- relays food orders to kitchen via point-of-sale system timely and accurately
- serves alcohol according to regulations and company policies
- participates in clearing and resetting dining tables
- observes guests and anticipates needs
- maintains a clean and organized work area
- explains and demonstrates usage of tabletop electronic devices
- drives sales through suggestive selling
- ensures order accuracy by repeating guests' orders
- accommodates special needs such as booster chairs and high chairs
- occasionally serves in host/hostess or carside to-go server roles
- performs general utility functions as requested by management
