Job Requirements
- must be at least 18 years of age
- able to work days, nights, and/or weekends as required
- able to work in noisy, fast-paced environment with distractions
- capable of reading and writing handwritten notes
- able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds
- stand or move about facility for long periods
- walk or stand 100% of shift
- frequently reach, bend, and stoop
- adhere to company dress code by maintaining neat, clean, and professional appearance
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous experience in food service, retail, or hospitality is an asset but not required
- ability to operate Micros point-of-sale system or similar technology
- strong communication skills in English
- customer service oriented with a friendly, energetic demeanor
- capable of working in a fast-paced, noisy environment
- ability to handle money accurately
- familiarity with food safety and sanitation standards
- teamwork and collaboration skills
- ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
Job Duties
- deliver an unparalleled guest experience through food, drinks, and games
- keep immediate supervisor informed of significant issues and take corrective actions when necessary
- create a warm, fun atmosphere for guests and team members
- adhere to company sanitation procedures
- maintain accurate financial transactions including handling credit card and cash operations
- follow alcohol awareness procedures to prevent intoxication
- assess guest demeanor and report concerns to management
- greet and seat guests promptly
- accurately take and enter food and drink orders into Micros system
- ensure food presentation meets quality standards and deliver trays efficiently
- work quickly adhering to the 'full hands in, full hands out' philosophy
- assist in party setup and breakdown, bussing and resetting tables
- support fellow team members as needed
- complete station side work and manage sales on personal Micros keys
- participate in sales incentives and contests
- follow portion guidelines for cost control
- maintain ongoing guest satisfaction by timely check-backs and maintaining tables
- keep work station clean and set up properly
- foster cooperative relationships with team members
- communicate effectively with guests to enhance the Dave & Buster’s experience
- operate Micros and accurately conduct credit card transactions
- read and communicate in English
- listen and communicate guests’ orders and needs
- adhere to dress code and maintain professional appearance
- be at least 18 years of age
